SV Microwave's SMP and SMPM Edge Lock PCB Connectors are the newest addition to our popular Edge-Lock line!

Without proper reflow oven fixtures, edge launch connectors can be difficult to solder properly. As a result, return loss performance is negatively affected. That's why SV designed our Edge-Lock line to form an interference fit between the conical pin and PCB thru-hole, pulling the contact lane of the connector in to the edge of the PCB. This creates a fixture-less connector primed for reflow, ensuring optimal RF performance without any unnecessary custom fixtures to hold the connector in place.

Our newest Edge-Lock launch, the SMP and SMPM Edge Lock PCB Connectors, introduce small-form, push-on SMP and SMPM connectors. These edge launch connectors are designed for high-frequency performance up to 65 GHz and deliver minimal insertion loss and low reflections without difficult assembly techniques.
